This document sets out the terms and conditions between you and Confidence Live when you purchase a ticket for any event or conference organised by us. These conditions apply to all tickets sold for our events and form part of the purchase contract. We ask you to read this document carefully.
WHO WE ARE
Confidence Live is operated by Roar! Training Ltd, whose main business includes organising events such as conferences and gatherings. References to “us”, “we” and “our” mean Confidence Live. References to “you” and “your” mean the entity completing the booking request and the attendees covered by it.
CONTENT
All rights in presentations, documentation and materials published or otherwise made available as part of an event, including documentation packs and audio-visual recordings, are owned by or licensed to us. You must not distribute, reproduce, modify, store, transfer or otherwise use the content commercially, infringe third-party rights, or bring us, our affiliates, partners or speakers into disrepute. We actively encourage tweeting, blogging and sharing photos and videos of our events.
Content does not necessarily reflect our views or opinions. Much is supplied by third parties and, while we take care, we cannot warrant its accuracy or completeness. Content is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for inaccuracies, omissions or unlawful material. We may suspend or remove online content and may change speakers at any time.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILMING
By attending, you acknowledge that photography, video and audio recordings may be taken. These may include your likeness, voice or image and may be used by Confidence Live for promotional, marketing or educational purposes in any media. You grant Confidence Live the right to use this content without compensation or further permission. Anyone preferring not to be recorded or photographed should notify the event team on arrival; reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate the request.
TICKETS
Ticket prices are clearly marked on the ticketing site. Payment by invoice is offered for five tickets or more due to the administrative overhead and is due within 30 days. Prices are honoured only for the period stated on the invoice. Tickets are issued only after full payment and are subject to availability.
1. RESELLING AND ASSIGNMENT
Tickets cannot be resold. This includes tickets bought at any price or allocated through sponsorship. Resale voids the ticket and no refund is due. All tickets must be assigned to an attendee and attendee details completed within 30 days of receipt.
2. FREE AND SUBSIDISED TICKETS
Where free or subsidised tickets are offered, they must be assigned within seven days. If you secure a free or subsidised ticket after buying one, you are not eligible for a refund.
ACCESSIBILITY
It is very important to us that events are accessible to all. Attendees with access requirements should contact us when registering and we will do our best to accommodate them.
USE OF PERSONAL DATA
We will not share your name, address, email address or other personal information with a third party without permission, except for carefully selected partners involved in delivering the event.
TICKET POLICY
Ticket purchases are non-refundable. Tickets are for the purchaser’s or their business’s use for the stated event and may not be resold or transferred as part of any promotion or competition. Where resale or attempted resale occurs, we may deny entry and the ticket price will be forfeited. We may cancel purchases associated with ticket brokers or touts. We are not responsible for replacing lost or stolen tickets.
Reassignment from one attendee to another is permitted by contacting us directly, free of charge, up to seven days before the event. We reserve the right to refuse or revoke admission for a breach of these terms, in which case the ticket price is forfeited.
EVENT CANCELLATION, POSTPONEMENT AND SUBSTITUTION
We are not responsible for loss or damage resulting from substitution, alteration, cancellation, amendment or postponement. We accept no liability where an event is affected by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including war, fire, labour strike, extreme weather, pandemic, terrorist threat or other emergency.
CANCELLED EVENTS
If we choose to cancel an event, our liability is limited to the paid registration fee remaining after card and payment processing fees. The purchaser of record will be offered that refund.
POSTPONED EVENTS
If an event is postponed, ticket holders will be notified by email and via the event website. Anyone unable to attend the amended date may reassign their ticket or exchange it for credit towards a future event, subject to availability and up to the value paid.
ALTERATIONS AND SUBSTITUTIONS
Circumstances beyond our control may require changes to the format, speakers or topics. We reserve the right to make those changes without liability and will update the website as soon as practical. The same principle applies to changes made to protect attendees, speakers, partners and the team during a public health emergency.
TICKET DELIVERY
Once a purchase is completed, attendees are automatically added to the guest list and tickets or passes are available on arrival.
GENERAL CLAUSES
These terms contain the entire agreement relating to the matters they cover and supersede earlier written or oral agreements. If any provision is found unlawful, void or unenforceable, it is severed without affecting the remainder. Nothing excludes liability for fraud or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Our aggregate liability, whether in contract, negligence or otherwise, is limited to the price paid for the booking. We are not liable for loss of profit, data, anticipated savings, interest, reputation or goodwill, nor for indirect, special or consequential loss. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
INDEMNITY
You agree to be responsible for and indemnify us against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses arising from a breach of these terms or your use of the website.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND RIGHT TO USE
Copyright, trademarks and other intellectual property rights in the website and its content remain owned by us or their stated owners. You may use material only as expressly authorised. All other rights are reserved.
